Guys,too those that have been racing a few years,I have just got a heap of old racing stuff with a B3 and T3.
NOW in the stuff is 4 set's of 4 dual action shock pistons,IN GREEN, YELLOW, PINK and PURPAL.
Does anyone know anything about them?
Like what color has the smallest hole's etc?(they all look very similar size)
ANY help would be great.
CHEERS !devil

Pony your a life saver,thanks man.
LoL,Going by that, Ill learn more about my shocks first.
Wont hurt to try them in one of my spare sets of shocks but.
Mite try them in the first round this friday,that way Ive still got 2 rounds to qualify with the standard shock setup.

Mazimbwe, this bump for you mate!
I didnt end up trying them last night,I had a set of rear shocks with them in at the track last night but I no point in gettin out to show you cause my other pairs of rears had different Oil/piston/spring combo's.

Ok,if I get a motor for the truck befor friday I'll have them in the xxxt.
Ive put yellow pistons,15 wt iol,standard rtr orange springs.
Rear's are purple pistons,15 wt oil,orange srings.
I would normaly run a thicker oil,especially in the truck,but I seen a sneeky little bugger win stock truck at the interclub with 15 wt.....no harm in trying.
Oh,did I mention I BLOODY HATE LOSI SHOCKS,If I keep this truck,those shocks are going in pit box never too be seen again.

nah mate u need a really soft shock at the back otherwise ull get no drive,also i used hard,very hard springs,
and if anyone wanted to know my full setup with the shocks.all i did was clean them oiut and put new oil and springs,
fr = 15wgt,red springs
rr = 35 wt,blue springs
and now i have gone to 25 in the front with red springs cos of the heat on fridays

Bit of a progress report on these ere pistons.
I ran them in the truck at Autum river upside down,ie they would work faster on the way up,and slower on the way down,I used 40 wt oil all round and holeshots front,bowties rear.
My thinking was that it could keep better traction on the grass with a slower rebound and a faster compresion.As for how that went,well it was hard to tell really as it wasd a combined effort between tyre,oil,pistons,ride hight and so on.
But I think TQ in Mod truck and 2nd place behind Hodder in that class speaks for it self.
The pistons are the correct way up now with lighter oil and seem to deel with the bashing I did yesterday just fine,actually when I walked over to see the terain Id been flogin over I was quite suprised it stayed on all 4.
