Who races where?

Following on from Matto's original post i thought any good RC forum wouldnt be the same unless we promoted our local clubs!!!!

So perhaps a bit of background information about who we are and are clubs are in order :)

Well first of all I’m a novice and only started racing around November 2004

Sydney RC is an on-road and off-road electric club which races on-road at Brush Farm (effectively every second Friday night, check the website for the schedule) and off-road at Blenheim Park, Ryde (a mix of Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday day)

The on-road club gets around 20-30 drivers each meet across a wide range of ages. However, if you intend to bring any young uns, note that racing does not usually end till around 23:00.

Classes range from Novice 540 - 540 v8 - stock we are also looking to introduce 19T racing and apparently they also sometimes run minis all though I haven’t seen them in the time I have been there.

It is an outdoor track though so if its looking overcast please don’t be surprised to turn up and find no-one around. Registration starts at around 18:30 and racing at 19:00.

The club also has its own AMB transponders and the Allycat Race Management System so you also get see all your lap times which are also posted on the club website.
