antenna's are segmented... about 5 or 6 parts extend and pull out to be one long atenna right. yeah you know what im talking about =)
the last segment, the thinnest peice on my antenna slips back into the segment before it and wont stay in place. this shortens the length of the antenna and reduces the range of the car (and adds some interference)
before i do anything silly i wanted to see if anyone here knew any reasons why i shouldnt just slightly crimp the end of the segment it slides into to stop this thin end peice from slipping back inside.
it happens when i hold the hand controller upright, gravity pulls the last segment back into the previous bit.
i was also thinking of vasoline just to add some friction to the antenna so it didnt slide back in so quick.... but is slighly crimping the end of the second last segment going to hurt?
got any better ideas?
