Joe, seriously, dunes.

white sand is clean, i mean, it gets into places you dont want it, but it's not mud, and it wont leave sh*t all through your chassis.

DUNES DUNES DUNES look at those tyres, they are begging to spray some five meter roosters up in the air :)

NICE. and when you do dune it up, let me know, I'll film it.... awesome

So, I ran it for the first time the other day...did about half a tank of heat cycling, and then about 1 tank of puttering around the front lawn rich as anything..

I then took it out the back into a patch of dirt, and did another tank of blipping the throttle, nothing too major...at the end of it, I could grab the heat sink and it was slightly warm to the touch, thats how rich it was running.

Even blipping the throttle, it was shooting metre long roosts out the back, AND the front tyres....which resulted in an extremely dirty, sandy RC car. I've purchased some Panther Plow Boy II front tyres to replace the front Proline Maxx Paddles, and I'll be keeping the front paddles as spare for the rears.

Giving it a bit more of a go (not even out of 1st gear, still rich as hell), it was pulling the front end up easier than the stock motor did fully tuned!

A few more mods are required.....the air filter is also going to get a layer of stocking over the outside, as well as vaseline between the housing and foam to keep a good seal, and I'll be gluing up the air holes in the rims, to prevent sand from entering the tyres and causing imbalance :)

Not only that, but I'm going to trial a new idea for cleaning the truck...I'll let y'all know how it goes if it works ;)

Forgot to mention, having the plow boys on the front will result in better steering...paddles all round dont work too well for sharp steering response!!

Also, the stock servo saver on the throttle is a piece of shit, I'll be putting a different throttle arm to improve the nasty throttle behaviour (it sometimes sticks open a bit cos the stupid servo saver gets stuck)
