Express of interest : Race Meet on Fri 5th January 2007

Ladies and Gents,

West Coast officially re-opens for racing on Friday 12th January 2007. However, we are calling for a show of interest for a race meet on Friday 5th January 2007 (the friday before).

We would need 20+ drivers definate. There wont be points, it will be for fun but with transponders, 3 qualifiers and a final as normal.

Canteen will be open, lights will be on, and mosquitoes biting.

Please show your interest, we need 20+ confirmed drivers.

thought i might just let u guys know, the big christmas pressents are about to be order from the us, a new XXX-T Sport RTR Brushless w/XR2i, then im gona sell the motor and speedie that comes in that and a novak gtb 5.5 brushless!!!!, new competition on the way guys! but 1st i got ot learn how to drive it =P

I swear that post moved.. It leapt out at the last minute. Would have been good to get on video, that Mamba and 5700 and Shauns settings made that thing go from 10kmh to light speed in a very short distance.. Then that fence post moved and well the rest is well lots of little bits of plastic really :(. Parts ordered and car will be fixed by next Fri race meet.

I thought about that to,but I did'nt think it hit the post,I thought it ran off the edge of the track and hit the cement block befor the fence,that's where it stoped.

Ive smashed alot of planes with much the same result's,but that's the most smashed up I seen a race truck yet!

yeah, derek only got a few laps in on mine before the battery died. but i came close to what he did during practice. I ended up missing everything including ppl and ended up on the grass. i did hit the brick wall on another run so i do have repairs to do. just not a full on 6 million dollar man rebuild

Hmm, you might be right Stoney, people to the left of me blocked my view of final impact point I thought it was square on into the pine pole but all a blur to me now :). As for pit entry yup a foot to the left would be spot on for a quick pit entry service and exit, just gotta get me a pit crew up to catching it, heya baseball mit just might be the go, you wanna crew for me Stoney??

Derek, there's no need to worry about it, its only a car :)

the power curve is programmed so you get a constant power line from 0->80% throttle.. which at 80% throttle is about 60% power.. then you go to 100% throttle and 100% power. thats when it hurts.
