Hi.

Most of you probably already have your own cleaning regime but a guy down the track taught me this and now I do it all the time.

1. Buy a cheapo K-mart air compressor and air gun attachment.

2. Spray entire car with metho in a spray bottle. Dont worry about the electrics too much just dont go overboard.

3. Blast all the dirt/crap away with the air gun.

4. Put some WD-40 on the plastics to get tham all shiny like new.

5. drink a beer for a job well done 8)

I never thought of doing it this way and used to sit there for ages brushing everything down with a toothbrush. This way literally takes 30 secs so you are more likely to clean it everytime.

The wd-40 also helps prevent buildup of grime/dirt.

Hope this helps.

Thats how I do it....blow it off with compressed air, then hit it with the WD40 to get the new plastic shine.

Sometimes if the car is really dirty, especially with my Savage, I'll pull the electronics and motor out, and remove the tyres, and blast the whole car with a high pressure cleaner.

Then, let it dry and do the whole WD40 thing, and it comes out squeaky clean :)
