I think it is ok but when I go over it most of the time I smack straight in it the other jump so if it could be made smaller it would be better.

Hey Stone, my mates that raced last night loved it, till the final when he Headbutted the second and popped off a ball :P

I think it's good, and advantage to the guys who clear it for sure.

Chris

P.S Loved the whellie king at the end of the night :P

Ha ha, smart arse! It's an OFF road thing Birky,You wouldn't understand.....

I added a lip too the doubles at west coast this week,so that we could actualy clear the barstard.

People that cant drive, oop's, I mean cant clear it wont like it,people that can clear it will like it.

I myself love it,Yeh it's more of a bastard if your defending your line, because you hold a tight line then cant clear it, ( mainly stock and 19 turn) but it's much more of a chalenge now.

I had a few laps last night of really close racing with NeedSpeed,One lap he was in front of me coming intoo that turn,he held a tight line and I went wide and squared off.Cleared the double and passed him in the air (straight over him). Then next lap I was infront of him,But decided too too run wide too clear it,he went tight and went inside of me and got infront of me again.

So It's not nessaseraly an advantage all the time too clear it.

It realy came down too drive ability, and he's got more than me!! !clap

Kai,I dont think it's lack of power in your truck that makes it hard for you too clear the jump,I think it's more likley that your ride hight is that low (mainly the front) that she bottom's out on the up ramp and slowes it down.

You could try taking a longer run up,instead of just from the inside curb. That might help,Or you can just slow down and get the tyre's back on the ground befor the 2nd jump.NeedSpeed did that to me last night, and it was faster than not clearing the jump and nose diving.

Cheers Maxd out.

Keep the feed back coming guys.

Uve got it all wrong !smack my ride hight is fine ,the jump is awesome ,the driver needs a few more hrs in the seat thats all ...... Although i think i did the fastest lap out of all the classes ,so its not slowing me down that much maybe 1/2 second :)

I think he was talking to Kai, rather than you Maxd.
I loved the new lip and while I didn't clear it every time and got T-boned & hacked at the approaching corner a few times I thought it added a nice touch of entertainment to the track and a great show for the spectators.

getting AIR is the reason I race off-road. A 'doubles' that is impossible to jump cleanly over, is a waste of dirt. Glad you altered the bastard for some smooth sailing! must get down to WC sometime :)

%-6 Love ya work stoney!
I thought it was much better than it used to be. Getting plenty of air time is what it's all about, it gives you a buzz when you land it good.
Keep up the good work stoney!

Been on the shovel again boy's.

the hole at the end of the straght is fixed again, that took a whole barrow of mud.

And the first lump fixed, step up too the back sweeper fixed and lastly the up ramp of the table top is now fixed.

Two more arvo's could see some more done, but at least the worst of it is done.

Bring on friday night.

Stone : I hear you made a few changes to the track ? From what I was told it's made it more exciting to drive, even thou it's only minor things. HOPEFULLY things go my way and I'll be able to have a play on Friday night.

Actually i heard a few people saying the 2 new bumps coming off the rear table top weren't very good, that they ruined the flow of that corner.

Wilkinson
19-03-2007, 03:00 PM
KingBob, thats half the fun of off road thou. I'm just going on what a few mates told me, said it's ok if you stayed on the power. Each to there own I guess.

yes, they do infact RUIN the flow of thet corner.
and so does the off camber leading onto the straight.
and the off camber drop off,and the dog leg befor the table top.

I know, lets take out all the bumps, then the jumps, then hotmix the track, then put our ****in skirts on...

Harden up ya soft cocks, its OFF ROAD.

No dought the people that don't like the new edition's,are the same people that hit that lump of cement EVERY LAP.

That lump of cement just sucks, although i did notice the attempt to take the edge off. but i like the bumps.
although i just nail it and the front wheels never touch the ground. more technical is more fun.

I second that motion...you should all apply for membership to my Race-Team(H.T.F.U. Racing). Tho complaining about those bumps will mean loss of your application fee(and all paperwork for that application !super ).

I liked it. It did little to slow my speed through that left hander and helped me line up better for the plateau-sweepers entrance and gave every one more air-time. It also stopped people getting it all wrong in the cars they are not skilled enough to drive, preventing the number of potential head-on incidents we tended to see in that area of the track prior to the new track-additions.

Hat's off to the only person who does regular maintenance on the track and his improvements to the track. !clap Well done Stone. !clap

Well said Mazimbwe, I think Stone needs alittle more credit then he gets, I'm sure he has better things to do than to go and work on the track during his spare time.

Well done Stone.....
