Hey guys,

for my dad for xmas I bought him an RC boat, about $50 and goes quite well, now obviously its not your top of the line etc but for the money its a quick little thing. The guy had his own stall in Whitfords shopping centre and has since moved.
I went to strathfield and bought a $20 boat, I like strathfiled but what i paid for is what i got.

Soooooo, does anyone know of some decent quality rc boats ready to go that are big and quick for under $100.

I am not expecting the world but some something a little bit decent with bang for buck.

Thanks all!

Sly , this is the best boat available for under $100 and you can also upgrade it easily :

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-RC-Remote-Radio-Control-Atlantic-Yacht-Boat-63cm_W0QQitemZ200081119956QQihZ010QQcategoryZ2564Q QrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I used to sell them about a year ago and out of the 220 i sold , only 3 came back and 2 were just through neglection of cleaning after salt water .

Its been over an hour of searching but i finally found the video clip i made back then to promote them on my now expired website ( ive put it on u tube as i cant upload videos hear for some reason ) :

As i said , you cant go wrong with these for that price and the 1 i used in the video clip is straight out of the box , no mods at all and it flew , i ended up throwing a 12T in it in the end and it was off its nut but ran to hot but speed was off its tits so didnt get round to putting a cooling system on it or more importantly a smaller prop , but 1 mod you can do straight up is add another 1.2V cell to the allready 7.2V pack it comes with .

Let me know what you think of it .

I think the guy was also selling the exact same one, the yellow one looked familair. Now i think he was selling em for $65 are you able to get them still at all? ebay sucks sometimes....$30 for postage! as if! anyway though, that is perfect!! If you know of anyone who sells em leme know otherwise will ebay it.

Anyone else thinkin of terrorising some ducks with me :-)

lmao , yeah sly , ive got a couple floating around still ( get it ) but mate , believe me , postage will kill the price so stick with ebay to keep it cheap as possible .
