Today I bought a 4 channel chopper, a Venom Ocean Rescue. Ive been learning to fly this twin rotor puppy each Saturday that I work at the hobby shop and I felt I was good enough to have one at home.. so I can fly all the time :D

Completely RTF (ready to fly) with LiPo battery + charger, 8 AA's for the hand controller, a 36mhz FM 4 channel controller with reciever and micro servos.

I love it!

No future plans just yet other than to continue to fly and become really familiar with 4 channels.

Forgot to mention, it retails for $200 and its about the length of a 1/10th scale R/C car.

Spare rotors included too.

These twin rotor helis are probably the best invention made for someone wanting to learn how to fly .

I cant reccomend these choppers enough as a first heli cause its hover is soooo perfect that it gives you time to familiarise yourself with what the actual controls do .

3 weeks on 1 of these and you can jump onto a single rotor almost with ease .

Good 1 matt , love to see some video of you flying it bro .

nice one, how long does it fly for on one charge?

it came with an 800mah LiPo and it runs for about 6-8 mins. charging time is about 30-40 mins.

More than a few now ha-ha.

Still cant get the swing of things when the chopper is facing directly at me. And, I suffer from that brain fade ya mentioned the other day. After 5 mins....errrgghhh

Are you using a sim?I can still only manage a min or two nose in on the sim,but at least I can press F12 on that,un like the pin number I press when I crash the real thing.LoL.

funny thing , and i say this with over 20 years flying on helis , if i take off with it facing me i need a bit more concentration , if its airborne and flying towards me , its all just instinct and i dont even think about it
