So,since I started racing,flying has taken a back seat.
But the urge has been getting stronger of late, much stronger.I weeknd last night and got a Great Planes FLING.
She's all preety in pink,I love it already.
$120 ,Almost ready to fly, with a bungy cord aswell.Requires micro or nano radio gear (got that) because it is quite small for a glider.
Just 1240 mm wingspan.
She should slope soar in minimal wind too at only 195 grams.
Ill get someone top post some pic's for me later.

This thing is fantastic, unreal glide/sink ratio.
Had too make a 4 cell reciver pack out of 1/3 AAA 130 mah batteries coz tight for space,my 2/3 AA's were way to big too fit.
And I had too use my smallest servos, micro one were wa too big as well.
I need to go find a nice slope now.
Ahhhh. I can feel my stress easing already.

RB,shoot me an email then I can mail the pic's to you.I still cant post them,Im stupid.
Just racked up my first 25 bunji launches.I was full on peakin out as it went up the first time.I had seen the old boy do it a hundred times as a kid,but only ever hand launched, hand towed or slope launched my own gliders.
What a buzz, unfortunetly she started getting elevator flutter as I started going further back,so I called it a day.better take the slack out of the push pull setup.
Ive got some range /frequincy issues, that doesnt inspire me with conferdence,so guees Im going too the hobby shop tomorra. One new micro reciver for me please!

It's only a mini bunjee,a bit bigger than nitro fuel tubing.
Get's to about 30 meters plus,Ive even been looping at the top just for laughs.I couldnt help myself and went back to the field at sunset when its nice and calm.
Im going to find a slope tomorrow....somewhere.

i love it Stone , looks fast and very controlable .
Just a little hint if you slope soar with it and thats to weigh it down a bit . Let me tell ya that the winds blowing up a cliff will send it sky high so hopefully its not blowing a gail when you try it .
In saying this as well , when you weigh it down ( with lead ) make sure your CG is balanced and looking at that plane it the standard balance point of 3/4 up the wing or pretty much right on the main spar .
Good luck mate .

Yeh,it's all under control mate,I been slope soaring on and off for years. The hard part will be finding the right hill,I recon my best bet will be on the coast when the freo doctor comes in this arvo.
There will be heaps of good places around the joint,I just havent taken any notice since Ive been in the city, because I left all my planes and gliders out the sticks.

Buy it, buy it now! T tails dont like cart wheels but they good for "Carrier" landings. And thats common place on the slope sights,If thats you bag that is.
