race meet 4/05/07

there was an inspection held at the track ( thursday ) this afternoon and if the weather holds off from raining tonite and tomorrow we will go ahead
we have a set of transponders kindly loan to us if meeting goes ahead
i will still be opening the gates at 5.30 - 5.45

ya'll should get some polyethylene sheets to cover up the track next time it rains. that's what I used to do when I made tracks up and got the compactor out only to have it turn to muck.

if we are headed for a wet winter some mods may be in order.
soak wells and some decent run offs. jeez i may have to put my hand up and get dirty.

soak wells got done last yr,in fact the whole track was made so that we can hopefully run for longer!

we already have kick arse soak wells in, maybe we should have a bit of a tidy up so the water can run away freely

typically the club will have a break over June/July of each year for the winter.
