Guys , had a weird experience today and i must admit , it shook me a bit as the dead is something im very scared of .

Im working out country way ATM painting 3 houses in the middle of nowhere ( and i mean 5 minutes drive till you get to the next house ) .

Anyway , ive got a few other jobs since starting this so have no choice but to put the hours in to get these out of the way so i can start the next project so this involves me working till bout 8ish PM ( dead dark there ) .

So ive done the week leaving each night bout 7.30 - 8.30 and did again tonight but .....

It was exactly 7.45 and i only had the spotlight to work with inside and i had my ipod running off some base speakers in the same room . I was listenninng to a song i have on all the time with no issues and it went into fast foward jibber and backwards and forwards and was all over the place , i sort of couldnt make sense of it much until i went to it and saw something run past the window outside in only the form of a shadow as i only had the lighting from the spotlight sort of lighting outside a bit as well .

Guys , i didnt even wash my roller , i left the tin of enamel opened and i was in the car on my way home . I lost it bad .

I got home told the misses and her friend she had over and guess what , last night , she was going to bed and she felt a tap on her backside , she saw nothing but moved from shock and thought it was her imagination till her daughter came into her room a few seconds later and screamed saying she saw a man dissapear .

Is this a ghost epidemic .

I am not scared of too much , pretty much only snakes and bees but the dead or unknown totally FREAK ME OUT massively .

Anyone else got stories

The blinds were blowing... on a dead still night in our kitchen once.

Dad shat himself, and we have no idea.

Thats pretty intense RB. I remember when I was younger I had a few freaky experiences. The most memorable I reckon was when I went into an old condemned house on a backroad one night. We were the only ones there (me and a friend), it was about 10 or something, a calm night, no wind or anything. We had a torch with us, and we decided to explore it. There wasn't much inside, a few broken chairs and some glass from the broken windows.

As we went inside, panned the torch around, and looked all over, the light stopped on the only chair that wasn't broken. My mate went to sit on it, but in his efforts the chair collapsed, he hurt himself and I laughed at him. For some reason the wind picked up and caught some broken glass still standing in the frame, pushing it off the sil, it smashed on the floor. It died down just as quick as it came, and it was completely silent. Then, we heard this quiet *tap tap tap tap tap tap tap* coming from all around, we thought nothing of it. Anyway, that was about enough that we could take, and we left the house in a discussion of how freaky it was. Just as we picked up our bikes, the torch died, and suddenly the house came crashing down, throwing dust up with a god-awful crash. We hit the torch in an effort to get it to work, and just as we shone the light at the almight dust cloud, it seemed like the dust split around the beam of light. Then the wind started again, blowing the dust into our faces. We rode away as fast as we could and just caned it down the gravel road.

We went back the day after and the house didn't look like it did the night before. It looked decimated and crushed, not like it merely 'fell over'.

Anyway, thats my story.

Nothing that has directly happened to me, but a few have happened in the family.

When i was maybe 10, one morning my olds heard their piano being played, they got up to tell me off for making noise, only to find the room empty and me fast asleep in my room.

My brother in law woke up in the middle of the night to find his little boy standing on the bed. Thinking the kid had had a bad dream or something he went to grab him for a hug but he vanished. Room empty, door closed.

One of the grans in the family died suddenly (heart attack or something), and when they went to tell her 5 or 6 year old granddaughter that her nan had gone to heaven, she replied "oh i know, gran already told me".
