Since this is a flight forum.... who the heck are these Tiger Airlines? Ive heard it mentioned a whole heap... Are they going to offer a low cost of flying in Australia?? Do they make Virgin look expensive?? Do they provide meals and in-flight movie? Are the flight attendants hot?

for the prices their gonna charge Matt , i think you buy a ticket at the counter and when you sign your luggage through and they put it on the conveyor belt , you also get a ticket stapled to your forehead and you sit in right behind it followig it out to the cargo baggage hold where the handlers open your backside , shove a few Kgs of hash in there and then throw you in with the baggage but mate , you will get a cheap flight ... haha .

Seriously though , i heard rumour Melb to Perth $165 , i can assure you no drinks or food included and id assume $10 for headphones to use their entertainment package

Hmmmm

Virgin was meant to be the cheapest Mofo's for domestic flights, but now, theyre all the same.

I suspect Tiger might be cheap for 12 months to win some market share, then jack the prices up to be on par with Virgin and Qantas??

If Tigers international flights are anything to go by they will kill all the others on price.Doogie has already used them to fly to Singapore and back for $300 including all taxes. The misses and I are flying Tiger to Phuket shortly for $480 each, the next cheapest air fare using anyone else for the same dates was over $1000.They are a subsidery of Singapore airlines and are massive world wide.As long as they dont crash I can live with cramped seats,no movie and no meal for that price.
