OMG!!! Love it!

Thats going to need a some serious battery power to keep those servo's powered or a generator.

I would love to hear about the fun he will have getting that thing tuned.

James good spot, yes that is an LSt tranny & diffs

Nick is a local lad ,who races 1/10 on road gas & loves to build different rc stuff , his last project was a 1/10 burn out machine ,with a totally customised twin exhaust & breaking system.
He also builds stuff on consignment as well so if you really wont something totally unique & you have a pocket full of cash then nick is your man.

Big Trucker

The Ultimate 1/5 Scale Truck

This is Big Trucker, I have been building it for about 10 months, and it is finally finished!

It’s based on a Team Losi LST2 (monster truck), but extended via a custom made chassis with 2 extra engines added (3x OS .30), and has a FG body shell fitted with custom LED lighting throughout.

It has all the features of the LST2, but with some extra’s that are operated from the 6 channel transmitter.

Functions from transmitter:
-(NORMAL FUNCTIONS: throttle/brake, steering, reverse.)
-EXTRA FUNCTIONS
: High Beam LED’s (on/off)
: 2WD/4WD
: Separate front brakes (for burnouts)
: High/Low gears (orig. hand operated from truck itself)
: Raise & Lower chassis function,
e.g. On-road use - runs 40mm ground clearance
Off-road use - Chassis raises, runs 80mm ground clearance

The lights also correspond with the actual function being used, e.g. when you brake - brake lights are lit, when you reverse - reverse lights are lit etc.etc.

The 3 engines have a custom made air intake system with 6 air filters (sticking out of the bonnet). Exhaust manifold routed to the rear with custom chrome tips.

FG shell has 60 LED’s in total, and the chassis runs a total of 12 servos.
1x throttle/brake, 2x steering
1x front brake, 4x raise/lower
1x reverse, 1x high/low gears
1x 2wd/4wd 1x turn drivers head

Length 810mm, Width 440, Height (lowered) 360mm, (raised) 400mm Batt. (to provide juice for 12 servos) East 4200mah, 5pack, sub C.
