Lads,

After a too long hiatus and now working normal hours, I am considering getting back into racing.

I have everything to get me going. What I really want to know are rules and regs, membership fees etc etc. What clubs are out there.

Many Thanks

Wayne

Wayne, good to see ya back! hehe.

Ryper Hobbies is a great place to race asphalt. It's a great track, great facilities, great hobby store with everything a racer needs.

16 Coolibah Way, Bibra Lake. Check it on maps.google.com.au

rules are generally found at www.aarcmcc.org

the rules arent that strict with club racing at Ryper, as long as you run the right motor for your class (540 sport tuned, stock 27T, or modified (anything))

Racing is every Sunday, nominations are at 12 midday, racing starts at 1pm. so if you can get there around 11 that would be ideal!

two rounds of qualifying and three finals. Great fun, relaxing day, BBQ, etc.

Cost is $7 for members, $10 if you need a club transponder. Membership to Ryper (i think) is $50/yr. You also get AARCMCC affiliation with this membership, meaning you can race official AARCMCC events.

hope to see u there, haven't seen u in AGES!

there's another discussion about this somewhere else.

don't know if ryper will take the bunbury line or the west coast line.
