Now for the electric power plant .
Heres the new Himark 5020 brushless motor .
This is as powerfull as a a .46 nitro engine and with a 6S pack will even take up a plane designed for a .61 .
Its massive and its only when you see it in real life that you can understand it .
Anyway , ive got it pictured with against a 540 electric for size comparison .

Nice little project for those winter days , But what you need to push that puppy along is a shultz 32/170 for some fun power.
The pic shows the esc next to a mini t

Thats a BIG outrunner! Are you sure a 60 A speedy will do it? That will full on change the whole realism of the jet,I love it.
rofl. Bandit, if IM not mistaken, that "model" is in fact trying to replicate a F-14D Tomcat from the VF-31 "Felix the cat" Squadron ! lol
tee hee hee
i stress "TRY" hehehehehe

RB these big ESC's are for big power 32cells or 49volts @ 170amps & if you wont a motor for a baja the platenburg biggus maximus is the only way to go , The ESC would for sure with a lipo set up push that plane to breaking point

Ok , so bought an 11 x 7 prop today and was able to borrow a 4S 3200 from the owner of the hobby shop .
With these specs , it is exactly a direct conversion off the .46 engine , this thing ****ing pulls hard . It is definately enough to get the pane up and flying comfortably but am going to buy the 5S anyway to give it stupid power .
After this test , i am confident enough to even rip out my .61 n another project and throw this in .
Now i just have to organise a Lipo charger for 5S +
