Thanks

Once have have relocated the esc & the reciever, get rid of the Tamiya connectors & direct solder the wires to the motor , you will be able to remove a couple off feet of wire .(less resistance )If it has the old style plastic drive shafts ,you can then insert dowell into the centers to stop them twisting ,These will have to be replaced with CVd's if you go brushless as with the idler gears. Lock the gear box into second & get rid of the second servo to drop some weight .............that should get you started :)

I did the above advice you told me when i got mine Maxd and a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE but get rid of first gear ?
I love my first gear , it lets me get up on 2 wheels :(

Ride hight is answer to wheel stands and the weight in your shocks ie the higher the ride height in the rear the with a soft oil will make it easy to wheel stand, as you plant it from a standing start the trucks rear end drops pushing the front end up until the rear shocks take up the weight and the the momentum moves to the front of the truck causing it to wheel stand %-6 x) :@ does that make any freakin sence at all :| :p

Some of the money invested were on the idler gears , These were special built out of Crome Molly ,you cant blow these, if you change over to BL power plant you will need to add these to your gear box .the idler on the top is made by UE and you can see after 1 run the hard coating has worn off , the CrMly unit was tested for twin BL units. I still have some of these if you are interested

Hey bloke , i run Premium power 2S 4800mah .
People bag them but ive had mine for over 6 months and they CONTINUALLY charge to their rated current and in most cases over 5000mah and i am running the same motor as yours literally and it kicks that bastard over hardcore . As you have seen , backflips on launch are standard with these packs .
Value for money you CANNOT go wrong with them .
Anyway , as i said , ive got 7 of them so can spare a couple for you to loan till you buy some .

Well I got the new Integy shocks and oil.Got them all filled with oil and mounted. They look bloody nice.I thought I should test them.So I lifted the truck up to increasing heights and dropped it.I got to my chin and stopped...it still didn't bottom out.I like it.The only thing I am wondering is if I might need heavier oil.The oil I put in is only 30 weight.Anyway the batteries are charging so I can give it a blast.Enjoy the pic's.

Hey guys.Well I took the truck out for a nice run down the Bmx track today. The new shocks are great but I think I need heavier oil or maybe wind the adjusters down on the springs. As usual I broke something again. This time one of the rear out drives sheared off.I think it is time to upgrade them.I found some on one of my favorite sites and I am not sure if they will drop straight in or if I need some revo parts or what? Here is the link http://www.ultimatetoys.com.au/traxxas-drive-shaft-revotmaxx-woptidrive-5451r-p-6752.html .
Thanks
