I want to go down and have a look, but seeing as it's so far, can someone give me an idea of what they carry any why I should go down there? Is it worth just going down for a look, or should I prepare a shopping list first?

I'm definately a night person. It's bad cos when I was at uni, the only time around the house when things were quiet enough to do assignments was after midnight. Now I have the bad habit of not being able to do anything constructive until after everyone else has gone to sleep.

Ryper have outdoor on-road 1/10th, offroad 1/10th, indoor Mini-T off road.
The indoor track is getting a big upgrade soon, ready for the wet season (so we can still race indoors!) they are also building an indoor 1/18th ONROAD track for the HPI micro and M18 freaks! awesome.
The shop is small like Mark said, but carries specialty item's and item's most purchased by the local racers.
I live probably one km away from Ryper, so it takes me only a few min's to get there, hehehe.
Perry and Ian are very friendly, and willing to help you with your R/C.
They also have toilets, fridges with softdrinks, slotcar racing, etc.
If you join as a member like I did, for $50, you get from 5-25% off shop items depending on brand. You also get HALF price track hire (yes it costs money to use their track's, they do pay rent on the property afterall) and half price for race days. (every single sunday is a race day, offroad in the morning, onroad in the arvo)
Mini-T racing starts in MAY. Everyone get ready for then, coz it's gonna ROCK.
I've used the indoor track with my stock mini-T and it was heaps of fun. I cant see it working at all with a mamba. The track is too small. the new upgraded track is said to be larger. nice.
The outdoor track is quite tight and complex for 1/10, but could be excellent for mini-T's that have mod's.
I plan to go down very soon (see the other thread), maybe we can all head there for a bash/race/shop.
It will basically be the place to be during the winter season for racing, no question.
