Its been a bit quiet in here as of late, so I thought I would clean out the cobwebs and do some updating.

I crashed my supercub about a week ago while trying to bring it down. High winds picked up and it was quite a handfull to bring down... well it came down about 3 days later. I managed to land it about 30M up in a gum tree.

So after countless calls the the Fire Brigade and local council, I got it back. Only cost me a carton of beer.

The damage didnt look too bad; broken pushrod, flat LiPo and lots of gouges.

Later once i had a better look things looked a bit worse. the Lipo is a bit sick. The gearbox has some nice big cracks in it and one of the servos is mutilated.

I still havent had my tutor up in the air long enough to call it a "flight." turns out its been caused by low voltage to my spektrum which has been turning off and causing it to behave bizzarly and usually crash.

Spewin. Was such a nice day in perth today I took the PC-9 and the HR3 down the field.
Was a bit nevous with the HR3 and the first 3 point landing snaped off ther tail wheel.

yeah, looking at getting a small 3D plane. Apparently I have out grown the supercub and the tutor... well theres a good 3 or 4days of solid design/buidling to get her up in the air again.

been reccomened one of these:

apparently they are very easy to fly and very crash resistant.
and for $50, cant go past that!

I'ds say NOT VERY CRASH RESISTANT! Get a plane made of EPP,thats the only stuff that is crash resistant because its rubbery. Coupl of the boys over ere have the mini slingers, there epp and they bounce REALLY WELL.

Hi Guys,

I had a TT Expo.

For the $$$ i think they are pretty good. (Better 'Bang for Buck' than the Great Planes Flatout Series anyway!) It really wasn't very good at any one thing, but was an ok all-rounder!
You can see from my pic that i modded the front end to accept a Brushless. Big improvement! !super

+1 for EPP.
I am in the middle of my latest build 'The Flash' from Rc-Factory.

Very interested to see that in flight champ, the next hover pig I get will be epp, just havent decide witch one yet. while my SPLATOUT is fun,its way too fragile to be practical, especialy for me being a 3D lerner an all.
