I just use the black stuff. Dunno what brand it is but I get it from Bunnings for a couple of dollars and it works perfect every time.

I hate the shit,I use velcro. If you need to swap out a speedy or reciver in a hurry, its a breeze, or your poor and use the one set of radio gear for two or more cars. Plus proper velcro is weaved onto a base that can be grabed with plyers and removed if need be. If you drown you car in water and or mud it makes for a less painfull job too.

I use body moulding tape from an auto shop. You get a couple of metres for around ten bucks and the adhesive is excellent. If your tape isn't sticking to the chassis well try smearing a drop or two of super glue around wait for it to dry and then try your tape again. If the chassis has ever been cleaned with Armor All or CRC the tape wont stick well untill you have done this.
PS Velcro from Spot Light $7 per meter-good stuff
Tape was from Super Cheap

I use this it comes with associated kits, normaly have to pry it off with a screwdriver.

cleaning the surfaces with metho or similar increases adherence I've found. completely flat surface area with nothing to prevent the tape from sticking.

finding a good tape is a god send IMO. I love the shit. use it for damn near everything. That and that fibreglass tape. Good for body cracks.
