View Full Version : West Coast Interclub
I am told it is a day/night event on the 24th.
Could the W/C committee give us some idea of the plan?
Eg: What time does it start?
KingBob

I think WAORMA will be sending the entry forms out in the next couple of days, but yes it will be a day/night event. At the moment i think the plan is to have gates open at 12, racing starting at 2. That will mean roughly a 9-10 finish.
But dont hold me to that.

What tires work at bayswater these days?
bowies have always been a fav down there
I would have thought a 3pm start would be a better thing. So we are not out in the worst heat of the day. This will also give everyone a little more time to do their civic duty especially the ones travelling.
Remember people the 24th is polling day.
Since it has not been decided what do others think?
KingBob
07-11-2007, 12:18 PM
But we don't want to finish too late for those of you travelling from bunno.
A typical interclub, is gates open at 7, all packed up by 5pm. Shifting that to a 1pm gates open means an 11pm packup. I suppose that gets the bunno boys home around 1am, not too bad. Opinions?

Seeing as Truck events will be held at the West Coast IC, rather than just support classes, I am sure there will be 1 or 2 members in attendance.

T4Trasher
10-11-2007, 08:04 AM

stone
10-11-2007, 11:00 PM
so your not a member of any club at the moment, yet you ran at the states.thats odd,I was under the impresion that we had to be a member of a club to be eligble to run Interclubs and states.
Obviously I was wrong.
Boony
11-11-2007, 12:03 AM
aarcmac states stoney.....meaning basically anyone could run.....we wont get into that on the net though.....tis way to complicated from my point of view

dingosrun
11-11-2007, 07:49 PM
i ran holeshots the other week and was sliding but ran bows last friday and she was good
dingosrun
11-11-2007, 07:49 PM
but dont take my advice as im not a very good driver
dingosrun
11-11-2007, 07:55 PM
when will entry forms be posted
Boony
11-11-2007, 08:04 PM
dan, id say tthe holeshots will be better.so long as the track isnt dusty. otherwise the tires have basically nothing to grip and itll just wind the motor out.
bowties will generally work better if its not very hot that day or as i said the surface is dusty. which it was last friday night just gone.

yer we both are
Boony
11-11-2007, 10:38 PM
dingos,ygpm mate
The best way to find the most suitable tyre is to try both. Each person has a different driving style - different strokes for different folks. You will find that tyre choice can/will change on the day once the track loosens up, or becomes grippy.
I beleive the best advice is to take a set of each, try both during prac, see which one feels best _to you_
Matt.

As per waorma rules, you would need to be a member of a club to be eligible to run at an interclub.
T4Trasher
19-11-2007, 10:35 PM
do u try and piss people off rob?
T4Trasher
19-11-2007, 10:37 PM
i will ring pete suckling tomorrow and join bunbury just in case i do get the time to run on saturday
KingBob

do u try and piss people off rob?
Do you?
You asked in the other thread about eligibility to run in the nats, and that rule was mentioned. Since you asked in this thread, i told you the rule applies.
Don't whinge when told of the rules when you ask!
T4Trasher
20-11-2007, 05:10 PM
i did not ask about joining a club to race an interclub stupid comments like yours are the reason why i will not join bayswater
T4Trasher
20-11-2007, 05:10 PM
and what nats did I ask if you had to be a member to race in? it must have slipped my mind?
KingBob
20-11-2007, 07:15 PM
States then
T4Trasher
20-11-2007, 07:46 PM
once again i dit not ask if you had to join a club to race
KingBob
20-11-2007, 08:18 PM
But it was mentioned in another thread, whe ou said you were not advised of any restrictions. Since you said you wanted to race this weekend, i figured you should know so you could race.
In hindsight i should have just said nothing so you couldn't race.
Guess your abuse is what i get for trying to do you a favour by letting you know!
T4Trasher
20-11-2007, 10:11 PM
you may remember i have raced under waorma rules before
T4Trasher
20-11-2007, 10:12 PM
and that is really going to help car numbers at an interclub isn't it no wonder clubs struggle
Boony
20-11-2007, 10:22 PM
dont wanna interupt this converstaion shall we call it but im preety sure west coast has one of the biggest number of members in the history of the club touching base around 75-80 ish

Whats with all the animosity here? I vaguely remember someone (Not pointing the finger at one individual here in this conversation) saying they are only toy cars.
I mean common, its not like we're racing for trophies now, is it? :p
KingBob
20-11-2007, 10:54 PM
LOL, actually, being an interclub, there are trophies up for grabs! (well, medallions anyway)
T4Trasher
21-11-2007, 07:07 PM
boony are u saying west coast has enough members that it doesn't want anymore god that would have to be the only club i have ever heard of that has that luxury
and yes rc nuts they are only toy cars we are racing
but as the point kingbob made to me was already pointed out on the previous page i did not see the point in adding it again other than to try and turn me off racing
Boony
22-11-2007, 12:09 AM
im just saying west coast always has the numbers to support IC's esspecially on home turf.......more is always better because u can never have enough but we still have great numbers, put it togeteher with ryper and country and carine and holy geezuz thats alot of drivers....

u talking about the bunbury IC......considering a bulk group of west coast drivers made there way down for the IC at the start of the year and it pissed down and the WAORMA challenge.....well considering it was by invite only and most of the top 20 from WCMRC only owned trucks........ wait till u see the turn out at this IC.....tis gonna be massive

I didn't go to racing last week, so I just want to check what time the interclub is starting.
The second post says racing at 2pm probably, but it didn't say for sure.
Check the nomination form. Pretty sure its on that.
Patrick
23-11-2007, 01:28 PM
Yeah I checked the nomination form before posting. I only see the date, no times.
West Coast Interclub will be starting 2.30pm onwards
Patrick

All your other boyfreinds had time too bag me,where was your comment. OH thats right,on here.
Sounds a bit like the pot calling the kettle a nigger to me.
T4Trasher
25-11-2007, 11:12 AM
i have nothing to confront you about, i only talk to people at racing i want to so if i didn't talk to you it meant i didn;t want to, and i only turned up to sell dan on here some rims because he had come the whole way from bunbury. otherwise i wouldn't have bothered going at all
T4Trasher
25-11-2007, 11:12 AM
