There have been a few enquiries about racing at Carine since it was brought up at a drivers briefing at West Coast recently.
There are a few issues to sort out before we can do any racing. Firstly we need insurance, which means we need money to pay for it. With the few paid up members (less than 10) and the meager sum we collect from interclubs, this isn't going to happen without some help.
Secondly, we need timing equipment to run the event - which West Coast have very kindly offered to loan us.
Finally we need the time and manpower to make it happen.
We are keen to run some regular events, probably monthly on a Sunday. To secure these event's (and the club's) future we need to have a good turnout so as soon as we have these issues sorted we'll post info on this forum some time early in the new year.
Paul.
