My first real, build-it-yourself, not a nikko/tyco, doesn't run on AA's radio control car. It's getting re-released. I didn't know about it....sorry if you do already. The only difference I can see is that it comes with oil filled shocks now. I don't know what the deal was with the Super Hornet, but for me, it just didn't have that sense of nostalgia behind it.

I think I'll be getting one of these for old times sake and keeping it on the shelf as a reminder of how the madness all began.

....now if I could just remember who I sold my original RC10 to...

Wow....US$79 from RCMart.com (US$95 from Tower) AND it comes with an ESC!

I posted a blurb on it in the news section some time ago December I think.. see:

perhaps no one reads the main page. We update it often. I always start there so I can read the "latest" forum posts off the bottom of the main page. easier. heh

Oh, that was just before I joined so I missed it. And I only just noticed you could access all the old news items. I'll have to go through it all sometime.

I guess the problem (for me anyway) with starting at the main page, is that that is one extra page I have to wait load up to get to the forum (it still is a bit on the slow side for me, dunno why), plus it doesn't get updated as much as the forum ;) If anything, I start at the forum, then go to the news occasionally.

Anyway........I WANT A HORNET!

whats your link speed? it's fairly quick for me. You gotta remember, once you've loaded up the pages it caches most of them for quicker browsing later, etc. anyway, all good

I'm on 512k. It's faster than before I've noticed.

Oh, and I'm definately getting the Hornet for nostalgic reasons. It handles like shit. I threw my hornet away cos it was in a million pieces. Besides, I'd rather a nice new unused one sitting on my shelf ;)
