Hey everyone,
I've been playing with my Mini-T lately, but I'm absolutely ITCHING to get my Savage out....its run in now, equipped with a new, hard core off road filter, and ready to be pounded ;)
Anyone else keen? I'm not just talkin trucks, I'm talkin 1/8 scale, 1/10 scale, even Mini-Ts
As long as its off road, its going to be a lot of fun :)
Anyone have any ideas for date or venue??

Keen to go to a big pile of dirt for the bash....anyone got any suggestions? I got some near my place which would be fairly good.

Down the road from me there's a new small housing estate. It's massive area's of cleared land (obviously) all the blocks are cleared and just sitting there, empty. It has that stuff sprayed on top to stop the dirt/sand blowing in the wind, kind of like cool'or'cosy stuff. it's awesome. I bash down there heaps. no real jumps, but thats easily fixed I spose. there is a couple of raised block's with limestone retaining walls that you can jump off! my 1/10th gets off there flat every time, the mini-T gets off it flat... some times, haha, depends on throttle control..
so we could bash there I spose. it's south of freo though. I live near Ryper actually...

Nice....sounds great :)
Well, we'll probably go there. The development behind my place is mostly full but there is going to be a nice huge area of land soon, once they finish excavating and filling it all in ;)

AIR is important. you gotta have it. Making a mini-T land good air isnt easy. I'll be tuning my 'T' for AIR...
mmmm r/c getting AIR.

back on the savage topic. i wanna see that thing throwing rooster's out the back on full song. and I gotta see it in 2nd gear. (Joe, this area near me, you'll easily get it in 2nd gear!)

hasnt hit 2nd yet, been way too scared and been running it in very carefully...its absolutely NUTS in 1st gear.
I tell ya, playing with the Mini-T is a helluva lot of fun and I cant wait to see 10 of us bashin those lil things frantically around a track, but NOTHING beats the Savage for pure driving thrills...the amount of power under that trigger is ridiculous.
i cant wait to get it on video ;)

My Savage doesnt work....its missing a washer where the spur gear goes, and its a damn weird shape washer too...it has a hole in the centre shaped like a hex.
Without this, no slipper clutch and no drive.
Cant even find it on tower hobbies dammit!!
Until I find one somewhere, or "make" one, there wont be any Savage :(
