We went away to our holliday house over new years for about a week and as ussual i had the trailer loaded up with mtorbike and all my RC cars etc .
On the return , i noticed the ATV sitting a bit on an angle where it shouldnt be so i pulled over and had a look to see what was going on .
when i got out of the car , i instantly noticed a strap had broken and the strap that brok was also guiding and holding my Emaxx and also my 1:5 traveller and guess what , Emaxx and traveller gone plus an RC boat in the box . We back tracked about 20 Ks with no luck so those 3 things were lost and i was not only pissed about it in terms of losing the stuff but also in myself as i always said to myself " 1 day i should work out another strap for the RC as security .
Today i get Toll Express at my door delivering a massive package , i signed for it , opened it up and F*** me dead , my savage and my 1:5 ( the 1:5 took a bit of a beating but was still there ) . I also got a letter in the mail saying that " we were a few cas behind you and saw it fly off the trailer so we instantly got your rego off the car and picked up what we could for you . Someone else took another package and we got their rego number if you wanted to persue it . "
They also gave me their phone number as they only wanted to be reimbursed for the postage cost so i just got off the phone with her now and its only $25 and she was insistant thats all she wanted .
I am going to the post office now to write them up a money order for a few hundred$ and wish them all the best for the new year .
Hows that for honesty and i tell ya , it makes you look at people a bit differently sometimes .
