OK, you guys are making me curious.
As much as I love my iWaver's I need to find out what the fuss is about these Mini-T's.
Can we list the cheapest ONLINE stores that you have found for the Mini-T readysets and parts?
SHOP NAME-----------Type of parts (battery/motor/shells ect)
prices that you have seen and indication of what the company is like for postage costs would be helpful too.
I'll update this post as you answer to get this info all in one spot.

www.blindbatts.com - batteries. 5 bucks to ship 2 battery packs.
www.modelflight.com.au - Australian Mini-T parts, use this if you need stuff in a HURRY (quick shipping). Shipping is a fixed 6 bucks whether you order a shell or a pinion, so it can be cheap or expensive. It obviously goes up as you get bigger stuff though.
www.b-p-p.com - Mamba brushless motors. 2 Mamba motors, FREE SHIPPING>
eBay - RC Boyz and Stellamodels are fantastic, and have quick shipping. RC Boyz is the only place I've found Mini-T Pro's for sale, and Stella has a full range of 3 Racing hop ups.
As per eBay, shipping is always a bit higher than anywhere else, but Stella models was a bit cheaper than RC Boyz because it was from HK not from the USA.

one18th.com - Beast Raptor Dyno Tuned motor. Best motor without going brushless. I just ordered from them, had some problems with the online shop, but I'm sure it was a one off. The site is wellknown for being a great place to shop for micro hop ups.
rcmart.com - All kinds of rc parts. They failed to inform me that they needed some extra verification until I emailed them. Apart from that, they process fast, and parts come from Hong Kong, so I'd assume postage is cheaper and ETA is shorter. Very popular site.
Tower Hobbies - Widest range of alternative brand parts. Sometimes a bit slow to arrive. Cheap postage if all parts needed are "Parts Express" available.
Fullforcerc.com - Aluminium/Titanium/Carbon Fibre hop ups. Excellent parts/service/price/postage.
If you're not planning on upgrading anything, you only need to know Modelflight for stock parts. If you are going to upgrade, forget the stock RTR version. Get a Pro version cos it's cheaper in the long run.

www.asiatees.com have a few GPM parts i couldnt get at one18th like the lower steering kickplate thingy and such - heaps of hop ups in there, and definately worth a look, but they only take paypal - they have the c/card fields, which i used, but then i got a mail saying they wouldnt take the card, but the money had gone out already, so i emailed em and they sent it regardless :) It left them on the 15th, so i'll let you know when it gets here 8)
Modelflight.com.au is definately the best for stock local parts - if you need something small, your mostly better off spending $20 on a few parts and getting the $2 item aswell...shipping is same for most things of small size :)

lol, how hard would it be to make a mini-t out of hop-ups? if you upgrade the ESC, servo/RX, motor, chassis, wheels straight away then how far away are you?

Yeah get the pro...thats what I did!
Dont forget you'll need things like screws, and other bits and pieces that you dont get with hop ups, its best off to buy a chassis to start with and go from there...at least you'll have spares ;)
