!bow LRP has been really good for me in brushed range so far and the time has come for me to get a modified brushless.

Which is better out of the 2?

LRP is more expensive and less thermalling aparently.

I don't want a biast answer i want facts OK all you novak suckers. !jerkit and I don't want what's in stock in perth because it's easy.

Let me know quickly.

What's the fastest motor you can use and win at bayswater and inter club events providing the skill is present to handle it.

this thread really don't make much sense, the motors are the same you can get the same turns in each brand and sintered rotors are faster than standard, I have novak systems and have not had a problem with them nor thermalled,

for 2wd buggy i recomend 7.5 sintered
for 2wd truck i recomend 6.5 sintered
for 4wd buggy i rccomend 5.5 sintered

as the lowest to realisiticaly go. I think which ever you go you will be happy with but do not over power or you will regret it

speed isn't everything driveability is a big thing a 7.5 ain't that quick but it really is all you need to win any meeting with provided you can drive

Novak or LRP? Different but the same. I've got both ESC's and motors (well actually the Reedy) and they have their strengths and weaknesses but perform very similar. I prefer the Novak. I agree with Associatedracer, the 5.5 is balistic in a 4WD but funnily enough my best lap times have been running a 7.5! More fun with the 5.5 though. Truck runs a 6.5 which is perfect.

just use what YOU want to use. who cares what others use?

if LRP has been workign for you, i say stick with it.

If you want a sea change? then buy a Novak.

hmmm...I have seen more LRP's smoke at the track than I have Novak's but get what you like.

Since you give us so much to choose from I would suggest the Quark ESC, Orion motor and a Castle Creations sensor lead.

As for the fastest motor you can use at WC and all the Interclubs, I've seen your driving and I think you should go with a SS21.5 crawler motor. !lol

looking at the west coast website results i would say the fastest motor might be a tad off over kill i think

Its the hardest thing for a shit driver to understand, that speed isnt what is going to make you win. It is almost impossible for them to understand that a slower motor and fantastic cornering will have you win the race, or come 2nd place, which is still bloody good!
