20th Anniversary of Carine RC Club at Greenwood.

I spoke to one of the original Carine members (Bill) yesterday who indicated Carine RC Club started at its Greenwood location in 1988 making it 20 years old! The club formed originally at the Carine Open Space racing on a marked off area of grass and moved to its current location after being offered a site by the Wanneroo Council. The club then was reasonably large with over 30 members and funded the track, fencing and power from its own resources. Lets hope we can see the club still going strong in another 20 years!

My old man and his brother use to race at carine track back then, Old man had a tamiya bigwig and his brother was running a optima pro i think from memory.

Old man brought a yokomo super dog fighter to run but it never got to the track, ive still got the ne wbuilt un used yokomo to this day , unpainted aswell :D

i went to carine track in 1987 1988 but i dont remeber it being where it is now
at the time i raced a tamiya falcon and a shumacher top cat loved the top cat
