Just placed an order 4 a LRP Sphere Competition TC-Spec ESC, just wanted to find out if anyone has ever ran one. What are they like, how easy are they to use, and are they easy to use with brushed motors?

thanks,
Dan

I have one in my B44, but it isn't the TC spec. I think about the only difference between the 07 spec sphere and the TC ! is that you get a cooling fan with the TC.
It works great with both brushed and brushless motors. I personally think LRP gear is the best. I never hear of many people having problems with it. !2clap !burnout

The only bad thing I can say about the LRP TC is be careful if you plan on using LiPo's with this esc. I have read one report of a US LiPo manufacturer not warranting their LiPo's when used with this esc.

It is said that this esc pulls the lipos all the way down to 3.5 volts, well below the recommended 6 volt cut off for lipo's.

I dont no if LRP have updated their ESC's but its something that you might want to be aware of if the future of racing here in Oz ever gets the go a head to use lipos for sanctioned events.

i wont be running LiPo's with it, just the normal NiMH

How do stock motors run with it, does it feel any different to others esc's?
