Ive got a HPI RX2 receiver here and its had a bad meeting with the drive train im assuming and has had its antenna chopped .
Does anyone know what length to make a new antenna to .

nah king , no original , just a few cm of it .
I bought it off someone in classified here or rctech a while back like this

Send HPI a email with the band information (29 or 27 mhz) and they should be able to tell you the length it needs to be.
Or find someone with a HPI rx and get the length off that.
Or if you can wait until tomorrow night I will see if we have one sitting around that I can get the measurements from for you.

nuts ive had it for weeks anyway so a week here or there aint gonna matter , in the meantime ill try HPI .

hey RB, I was bored so i emailed hpi this morning this is what they said
Hello,
The antenna wire of the receiver is about 24inches give or take. If you continued to have interference problems you might need to replaced the entire receiver.

thats about 61 centimeters. fwoarrr, thats a long peice of wire for an aerial

Ha your lucky it doesn't have to be full wavelength.At 27Mhz full wavelength is 11m.Hahahahaha.
