-lmfao- it sure is...i was hoping no one would notice - I do have the GPM spare tho -lol-
I've already snapped the Integy Alum rear shock tower and an 'Atomik' Titanium Turnbuckle - and have bent the front right hub carrier -lol-
Need the motor plate/steering assembly/front bulkhead and thats about it to have nothing stock anymore :)

-lmfao- yeah - my driving is a lil to be desired - but im getting there -lol-
When i snapped the shock tower, i ran over a 'dip' for the drain in the middle of the car yard i work at - when it came through the dip, it lifted the front and flipped and rolled for about 20 meters -lmao-
The other crashes are my bad tho -lol@me-
Glad you fellas like it tho ;) I been thinking about getting hold of another integy evo x package and mixing the colours up a lil -lol- they have prpl blue or silver i think....maybe in the next hoard of orders -lol-

OMG Mini-Maxx .... You'd need serious hardcore springs and some lead for the front end. Would chop up real good tho!
Now thats like a V12 Shoehorned into a Morris Mini!

(This idea has given me too much to think about .... Need to talk to Maxd Out)

07-04-2005, 03:27 PM
that was kinda the idea of it - i'm hoping it will allow me to fit something stupid like a 540 :) anything with a 4 in front of it is a nice thought too -lol-
Have you guys heard of the guy that shoved a novak bl in his mini-t? -lol- I've only heard rumour of it - never seen it or heard from anyone that has actually done it - would love to see it tho -lol- I've actually got a 5800 at home, so i could test to see if it'll fit heheheeee :)
There was another reason i bought it tho - well kinda but not really - anyways, the other thought i had pushed in the far reaches of the back of my mind, was maybe i could use the bigger mount with the outer holes of the mamba mount holes, giving me a bit more room for my pinion to not come anywhere near the washer i've been using, cause i had to mod the stock motor mount holes so i could move the motor round further - the 20t pinion wasn't gonna fit otherwise :(

11-04-2005, 03:25 PM
damn straight! I dont see the point of shelf queens -lol- I bash this so hard it's broken something almost every single time i have run it just about - well - maybe except one or two runs - but they were short runs -lol-
Gonna have to find hop ups that actually work - not really happy with any of the integy stuff - seems so weak :( Already broken the rear shock tower/front c-hub/front bumper and i think a couple more bits, but i think they were small ones i cant remember...there was the rear motor protector which i've replaced with a blue gpm one as u can see in the pic - i also only have one of the blue gpm front c hubs on there atm too - but i wasn't gonna change the integy one till it broke too - hate those c-clips -lol-
I have to get a better camera and take some GOOD footage -lol-

Hey Justo - how's ur wheelie bar holding up? :)
nice - just got my offroad trinitys today :) the other bits from tower and fullforce shouldnt be too far away now :)
justo316
12-04-2005, 10:36 AM
After my death roll at stirling, one of the rubber o-rings that is a wheel came off thus allowing the aluminium wheel hub to get scratched and dented. The o-ring keeps coming off now (I've since lost it) and the truck kept wobbling everywhere when wheelie'ing.
I also noticed I managed to dent the rear motor guard which is protected by the wheelie bar...?! No big deal, GPM stuff, expect it to not hold up.
I emailed ESP about buying a replacement wheel and they said they'd send one out for free! I won't hold my breath though.
danhfvcsd
12-04-2005, 01:47 PM
-lol- at least they gave you a good response :) I'm still waiting on some 'Arthur' fellow at integy to get back to me about the diff case - it wouldn't work with the stock diff, but i since got the 3racing diff, so it works fine now :) Still - he doesn't know that, and i'm still waiting on him to get back to me - the last i heard was that he was gonna put in a request for the replacement part to be sent out, and he was gonna let me know how he went...-lol- yeah right.
Your lucky you dont have the integy motor guard - it's as soft as 24kt gold -lol-
justo316
12-04-2005, 01:53 PM
Yeah ESP are crap at replying to emails. If I remember, I'll get their other email address for you. When I had problems with them overcharging me, they started using a different email to contact me which I guess they check more often.

nahh, that's cool man, but thanks anyways :)
Hey how do the on road trinity tyres go? I'm bout to find out how the off roads go tonight - cant wait to get home -lol- I swapped my pinion over to the GPM ti 14t pinion, but i'm badly wishing i hadn't - when i was tightening it down, it felt like it stripped a lil - i didn't tighten it anymore than that, but used threadlock, and now i don't know how i'm gonna get it off when i need to do so...might have to wait till it falls off or something -lol-
justo316
12-04-2005, 02:13 PM
The onroads are great as far as I can tell. Very little wear compared to the stock tyres. Ripped up the stockies quickly even while on dirt/grass.
I like the extra ground clearance due to their bigger size.
danhfvcsd
12-04-2005, 03:52 PM
nice - man - i'm so excited - knock off time in 5 minutes, and i'm going home to test these wheels out - but it just rained - looks like it might clear up - it effing better!! i got new offroads to try ouot!
danhfvcsd
13-04-2005, 07:51 AM
well, it didn't cleasr up enough for me to try out last night, but i tried it quick this morning on bmx track on the way to work :)
the clearance is huge, but the hook up wasn't so great - i've figured it's the slipper and springs tho - springs are fairly hard at the moment, cause i was bashing on a small grass hill near my place last with it :)
I managed to completely snap ANOTHER TITANIUM turnbuckle this morning tho, so i am now gonna do the same as they did in the one18th review with 1/10 turnbuckles - i'm sick of snapping the damn things -lol- It was the one for camber - front right -lol-
danhfvcsd
13-04-2005, 10:54 AM
I almost snap one of my front turnbuckle the other day. I did snap the end of a front shock off though :(
ewww - nasty! hey i been thinking of getting the BRP turnbuckles aswell - and the golden horizons piggyback shocks :)
u think the shocks would be worthwile?
I hear the losi springs dont work with it, but i have 3racing shocks, and some d00d has just screwed the 3racing shock body onto the piggyback :)
danhfvcsd
13-04-2005, 03:52 PM
well, he said they were too 'springy' with the standard springs & shock body, and they hadn't had any other spring rates for it when he posted it - dunno if they do now tho. he mentioned they'd be a better bashing option, but not for racing - although i think that's why he put the 3racing shock body on there - so he could get a more 'dampened' shock(dunno what word i should use here, "not as springy"-lol-) by using the losi springs - but i thought i heard him say the 3racing shock body is a lil thicker? But if it was, wouldn't that make it incompatible to fit? anyways - he reckons they're a pretty good thing.
I was kinda aiming at em more for bling reasons tho - but as long as they work i'd be happy - i dont race either, so not so bad if they have too much 'spring' to em :)

14-04-2005, 10:45 AM
DAMMIT!!! i snapped the end of my 3racing swing shaft - right where the thread starts!! - you know what's worse tho??? it was off the exact same jump that i snapped the turnbuckle on yesterday! -lol-
it landed right on the rear left wheel, the car flipped a few times, and then i noticed the wheel was rolling away the opposite direction to the car -lmao-
man - i cant believe i snapped it!!! anyone know of a good strong hop up i can replace with? - i do have the 3racing ball diff tho, so i might have to change that too ubnless i get replacement swing shafts - which i might do anyways today -lol-

14-04-2005, 11:35 AM
Ive got the MIP cvds, but the right one has bent slightly so my wheel wobbles a bit more than usual. I reckon it'd be stronger if there was less play in them. Having so much slop gives them weak points to break/bend at.
danhfvcsd
14-04-2005, 12:20 PM
hey i also noticed with my front wheels, the locknut doesnt tighten down the whole way as if the thread is a tad too short, leaving about 1-2mm of play letting the wheel wobble round a lil - doesn't bother me too much tho - i need to get that draglink and steering setup to get rid of most of that steering slop - i keep forgetting to upgrade it -lol-
have you run the MIP cvd's long? it's prolly more practical money wise to just replace the swingshafts with 3racing ones again - I'm hoping it was just a freak angle i landed on -lol- we'll see :)

All depends on how hard (or badly) you drive it. B) %-6
The composite parts (the origionals) will flex before breaking. The Aluminium bits won't flex, they just snap! x)
IMHO :? - For bashing I think the composite bits are better and cheaper to replace. For racing, well not too sure just yet - I think the Aluminum bits would be slightly better for racing when running a Brushless (More wieght to keep the damn thing on the deck!)
Over the next few weeks I will be upgrading mine. I am interested in a Carbon chassis and gear box bits (MIP do a solid top shaft!!!) :D

Havent run the cvds long at all. I just slid it sideways a few times into kerbs. Damn brushless brakes too hard and makes the truck spin out.
Other than that, I bashed it today for a whole battery pack. There's a little limestone bmx jump area in kingsley. I got zero grip so couldn't line up any of the jumps. rolled plenty of times. Brushless got VERY hot for some reason. Happy to report, nothing's broken.

rc king - i know! it's actually starting to get to me the tiniest bit - but i'm having fun while breaking it, so i dont mind too much...the money burning doesnt seem to bother me as much as it should which is kinda strange -lol-
yeah - i tend to have a bit of both hard and bad driving -lol- Plus the fact that it wasn't built for a bmx track - it seems to onl;y break there - and especially on this one jump - i just don't learn!
