I dont have either of them, so i cant take one in as an example :( I think i need to know how long it is, the thread and - well - actually i have no idea what i need to know -lol-

You dont have ANY other screws that fit? From my experience, as long as the screw fits and doesn't go too far in, it's good enough.

Take the motor with you to the LHS. Ask them for motor screws - you only want them to be 5mm long (can always get longer ones but you need to use some washers)
Mine are 5mm long and I use a 1mm thick washer to spread the load over the motor plate

fully man - i got nothing that even comes close to fitting -lol-
I'll ask em for screws to fit in here (showing the motor) and telling em they have to be 5mm long - that should cover me right? -lol-
I cant get to any hobby shops untill the week ends, cause they're out of the way, and not close to my travels throughout the day at work, so the screw shop is the easiest bet for me :)
I just wasnt sure if there was some little 'tech' thing i had to know - there usually is whenever i assume there isnt -lol-
Cheers fellas! - you guys are champs!

i have no idea! -lol- I left em on my desk, next to the mini-t when i went to work - then came home, and they were gone - i reckon my mum came in and gave my room a spruce up tho, and probably knocked em off the table and vackied em up, cause i'm missing some other screws and a few nuts too, but i know what they are and have heaps of replacements -lol-
I just spoke to that Shawn Palmer guy, and he said they were a "M2.5 3mm Cheesehead" screw - what's the M2.5 measurement? anyones know? -lol- 3mm i'd guess is the length, and cheesehead the type of head or something right? blab...anyways -lol-
cheers again :)

The garbage man has already been unfortunately -lol- It's all good tho :) I just came back from the screw shop, and they're gonna cut down a few 6mm screws to 3mm for me :) Got em to make up 10, so i shouldn't have any more probs with it - bet i lose more tho -lol-
oh btw - i just finished painting up 2 shells that turned out horrible -lmao- a baja bug, and a h2 hummer - they arent so bad from far away - which is where they'll be mostly anyway while im driving round, so i dont mind too much - just another excuse to thrash it even harder -lol-
I have extremely bad painting skills - i think it's cause i rush too much -lol- Oh well - i plan to get a couple more and have a play, so we'll see if it improves -lol-

arrrggghhh!!! I have a major problem i think....they said they looked inside the motor hole, and they reckon it looks threaded, so they didn't see if it was gonna fit :( HOPEFULLY they have bad eyesight and are seeing things - we'll see when i get home, cause i got no tools here - they made up the screws anyway, but didnt want the liability or something, so they didn't try putting em in - i hope they aren't telling me fibs -lol-

well - they weren't long enough -lol-
I've had em make up 6 more temporary ones 2mm longer :) They were only 4mm - and i am using a washer so i can mount the motor with the larger pinion, cause i've had to cut away some of the stock motor mounting slot/hole bit on the motor plate.
I've ordered some motor screws from tower anyways, so they should fit - hopefully -lol-
