Could we have a race meet at carine this sunday since all week is going to be fine?

Was thinking the same myself as just got back from Melbourne yesterday where its been very wintery so it would be nice to make use of the nice weather over here. It may not last!

So the ususal scenario. Gates open 9am, nominations by 10am, racing 10.30am.

There is power, access to toilets and we'll have drinks for sale. May even set up a mini-Webber bbq with some snags for hotdogs.

$10/class ($5 members).

Ring/text me on 0417944771 if weather takes a sudden turn for the worst on the day but otherwise see you there on Sunday.
Paul.

Do you think there will be enough for a truggy class? I might go, I want to give my neu 1515 1y (2200kv) a proper test on 4s.

P.S. On the Carine web site it says 19th of August, but that's Tuesday.

Truggy class should be a goer with myself and Volker there. Got the St-R running sweet with the Revo as a backup.

That Neu should be awesome on 4S. (Got one myself to use in a 8T project!)

My mistake - did that update on my lunch break so was a rushed job - should be the 17th.

Thanks to the couple of people who showed. Pathetic really. 6 hours getting gear ready, setting up, packing and unpacking for 2 racers other than Volker and myself (Lazer's car broke down) indicates there is no interest in Sunday racing at Carine.

I wont be repeating the excercise in a hurry. If we do try to run an event we will need at least a dozen people to make a firm commitment that they'll race. Otherwise we'll see you at the next interclub in November.

Hi Paul, Volka, Kai and Patrick.

My son and I came and watched you guys race today and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also enjoyed being honoury marshals for the day. A special thanks for letting us take our 1:18 buggy for a quick run when it was quiet. This was our first ever race as spectators and we really appreciated your time and the hotdog and drink. We were both impressed and can't wait for the next race where ever it is. Also we are now even more committed to graduating to 1:10 and even gained an appreciation of what 1:8 can do. thanks heaps

Paul

Special thanks to Paul and his son for marshalling for us. An awesome effort that allowed us to race for the day smoothly! Hope we can see you at future meets with your own gear.

Yeah, thanks for marshaling, otherwise there would have only been 1 marshal for each race.
