A couple of hard core monster drivers are going for a world speed record down at floreat car park in a couple of weeks ,no speed bumps 200mts long 50mts wide totally cool.We have a speed gun so come on down & well tell u how fast your ride really is.

Just a little evil ,this is Johathons Monster runnin 28 cells twin hacker c50's 95kph mine will be runnin 1 x c50 custom built hacker & 32 cells with foam tires this time to try & make the beast a little more stable a high speed,the last run on standard tires saw johnathons maxx doing a 360 at 95kph ,major tire ballooning %-6

Yer ill be dropping her down to about 5mm all round ,this has been a hard task to achieve beeing the faster u go the heaver the truck becomes ,trying to find the right combination :? We dont wont the rear end to bottom out,causing drag.

That's the confirmed top speed of a stock geared mini-T with Mamba 8000 and 3 lipos. You can't really add more batts, but you can gear it for a lot more speed, if you can keep it on the ground.

The current world speed record is 176kph by a totally custom built electric, single speed gear box RC car 8) running a Shultze 32/170 ESC,32 3300mahr cells & a single brushless.The ESC peaks @ 226amps !amazed .Ill post the web page as soon as i find it.

Funnily I've got coverage of that event in Japan that the HPI pan car ran the 147km/h run in a magazine I bought while I was in Japan, and I bought that magazine for the coverage of a drift event.

Hey Ya guys this will be a regular event that we will be doing once a month for the next few months until the speed record is broken.So dont worry if u cant make this sunday there will be plenty more testing days,getting the right combination just right can be quite difficult.Over the next weeks we will c dragsters that r capable of doing speeds up to 135kph,mini t that should be able to do 100kph witch id love to c & of coarce the big twin brushless emaxx & my emaxx witch will be running on sunday 24 cells on a single c50 brushless.All runs will be done on the tarmac & speeds will be measured with a speed gun that has been calibrated.So bring your video cameras ,cameras & your rides and we will c you down there all welcome. 8)

If someone can lend me a 3 cell LiPo, I'll get some Losi foams for my Mini-T and you'll see it do 100km/h not a problem ;)

8 cells were awsome, :) So they dont have the all out voltage of a lipo but at 1/3 of the price, they pushed the mini t to 63kph :p Top job on building those cells BB ill place an order with u soon, to build me a couple of packs.Thanks to all those who turned up this morrning and help out with the pics & vids cant wait to c em 8)

I did some more calculations - I think I might be able to break 75Km/h with 8 Cells. :D I got 3 weeks to prepare ... this is going to kill me LOL
