Shock oil?

I'm interested to know what shock oil people use and what effects it gives the car.

No smart ass responses please ;)

I no you ask that people dont give you a smart arse response but unless you expect people to give away their winning secrets I suggest you ask your friend.

I ask your friend and got 3,000,000,000 results. Amazing enough one of the first results was about both shock oil and pistons.

I no it would be a lot easier to ask others than have to research this info for yourself and figure it out on your own but try the search button on this forum or ask your friend.

Something else you can do is search for setup sheets from others that use the same vehicle as you on similar tracks to the one that your racing on.

Might I also suggest that you narrow down the question a little, since you only asked about a CAR, not a specific car. This could be a ON ROAD CAR, OFF ROAD CAR, Nitro ON ROAD CAR, NITRO OFF ROAD CAR. This car could also be a Losi, Associated, Tamiya, Xray...........................

where you racing, what class, what conditions of the day, what springs, what pistons, how many limiters, ect.......... Stick to the Stock set-up, this is usually the best starting setup.
