I ended up at the gym for my newly written program. Then went to the gym the next day to carry out said program, hauled arse mate. then made the mistake of going to gym yesterday too (sun) for combat, now I'm sitting at work with sore abs, sore biceps, sore pecs, and sore calf's... ouchies. I'm sposed to goto combat 2nite, but might not, in an attempt to recover for weight training tommorow night then combat on wed night.

damn....

def wanna still suss that track out though at some stage! hehe

yo.

today is thursday, do you have plans for friday night. are you likely to go check out the bayswater track tomorrow night??

you know what i did... i checked out a track and took my car. i told them i was new there and they let me race for $0. i just put in a battery, put the car on the starting grid and away we went.

ok so its wednesday as i write this, mid week now...
whats the G-O? are you still heading to bayswater on friday night to check it out?

suggestion: take ya car with you, and say, just 1 battery. you never know, the urge to jump on the track might just get to you and then YA SCREWED! YA HOOKED.

so you still up for it for this friday night?

Is this every Friday??

My RR Evo is just in the middle of repairs from a big accident I had whilst tuning, and I'd be keen to take it down there. I've never driven on a track before so I know I'll be crap, but I dont care...all in fun I suppose :)

yes, every friday.

i really suggest going down there with ya car... and some charged batterys. tell them its your first time and they'll let you run (its a clubs best interest to win over as many new members as possible). i did this at two tracks, raced on the same day i visited, the thrill is OVERWHELMING!!

and now, i race at these two tracks at each of their race days.

I went there ages ago to see mc68 race when , it was at the end of summer this year, I think. The car never went well that day. It would stall about 30cm above the ground whe he went to put it down. :p

and whats it like there? is it proffesionally run? decent turnout? would you race there again?

Both tracks are good. The off road looked a bit dusty but that's no problem. I only saw the nitro side being run and that was pretty good. Turnout is good, nice facilities on the nitro side. I didn't take a good look at the electric side and I'm sure that's what James is interested in.

I haven't raced on either track but I'd have a go on both tracks, If I get something that's worthy of running on each of the tracks.
