I had been thinking about getting an EnRoute Berg crawler but at $359us for a truck that only comes with chassis,shocks,links,diffs and rims i thought it was going to blow the budget getting all the other bits
then i saw the gladiator at Perth RC and thought thats the truck i need
from what i can see they are the same truck all parts are interchangable
the first thing i did was cut the body down way to many bits rubbing on the tyres at full flex
the standard tyres are ok for grippy rocks like limestone but on smooth rocks they dont work very well
it comes with standard cheap AM radio gear that seems to work ok the motors are your every day 540 silver can motors that with the gearing have heaps of grunt so much that you will strip the hexes in plastic rims so you must run ally rims
after adding some weight the to the wheels the steering servo gave up so an upgrade is needed the esc that it comes with is ok for a while but an upgrade there is advisable
the flex on these things is awesome near on 90deg there is a lot of adjustments you can make to the ride hight
over all a bloody great truck
