Headed up to the local marina to fang around on the limestone.
Terrain proved a bit tough, the constant grip/no grip i think is what caused it to strip the drive gear. Ooops. Not to worry, had a spare so it'll be back up and running soon.
Can you get Metal ones??
The thing absolutely hammers. Very impressed with its speed. And its so good when you want to play for longer, just fill up the tank :)

I'm quite sure Robinson Racing make a hardened steel spur and pinion gear set, they do them for most off-roaders, so I cant see why they wouldnt make one for the Inferno :)

Haha yeah that was on the shell when i got it. Bit of 'custom' fabrication i think.
Balistic, do you have any idea where I can get that sort of thing from? Im new to this so any help would be appreciated.
Dunno if the motor is stock, the guy at the LHS said these things were sluggish, this thing absolutely hammers and i still havent used WOT haha. Crazy
and hows the car been going for you this week mate? have you taken her out for a hack since these shots in the limestone??

sure have!!!
Fixed up the spur gear and cleaned her right up. Took it to the local BMX track for a hack on sunday. Went a treat! got some massive air when u hit the jumps at full speed haha.
Im surprised i didnt break anything, landed on all sorts of angles some times flipping etc.. seems to be built pretty tough.
Lost a screw from front knuckle so the cars wheel alignment was rooted wouldnt hold straight line so retired it. Easy as tho, ive got like 1000's of screws i got with the car. Regreased the front bearings as i hadnt done them yet.
Sunday repainted the shell in bright orange, black tinted windows and black striping with a black wing. Got a Modyourcar.com.au sticker on it now as well. Looks trick.
Last night took it for a hack at the park. Had no shoes on so had to retire from prickles in my feet after running after a flipped RC! dolh!
But yeah, everything is sweet!
