Hey blokes , i fluked a 1:8 scale VH - VK shell today and its gonna be 1 of my ultimate shelf queens .
Im undecided if im gonna put it on the HPI chassis or the Landmax
If i go the Landmax , my wheelbase is out by about 7 - 10 mm , if i go the HPI then the width is out by 8mm each way so dunno

Run some offset spacers, or mod the rims to have some more dish, cut the inside edge of e rim and move it to the other side and it'll make it a deep dish rim..

will look good, the vk was an awesome looking car.
just have to get the marlboro right, on the real car its not stickers, it was painted on while the image was projected onto the car, thats why the M over the rear arch only looks right when you look at the car side on.

Talk to Shadow about getting some paint masks done, make life easier.
And if itsgonna be a shelf queen, you can mod the hell out of the suspension without worrying about having to run it.

Also, don't forget the car was day-glo orange, not the red most people assume.
So says his book, anyway.
