Ohh well , as i mentioned in another thread i had this HPI pro 4 that ive been totally wrapped with as it is so bloody accurate and i have finally decided to convert it to a drifter .

Being me , ive got to go wow factor so im running a 7700kv in it ( which i will tame down totally through usb ) and also a real working radiator and water pump cooling system ( dont care if it works or not but it looks totally sick ) .

Anyway at this stage its all still raw but ill update pix once finished so will show what i got so far .

( Pix 034 is the water pump )

Tip to bling the tubing... get some coax, strip the sheath, and thread the woven shielding off, then thread it over the tubing. heat shrink the ends and presto, looks like braided hose.

Looking good RB

Just make sure it isnt tv coax as most of the time its copper sheilding, you want RG58CU which is nickel plated.

Hey blokes , im chasing 2 alloy rear uprights for this HPI , ive got 2 alloys on the front but want to bling up the rear plastic ones .

Has anyone got any they want to sell or can you point me to somewhere i can buy them ( as ALL of you know ive never had to buy spares for my stuff as i never use them so wouldnt know where to find them .. haha )

Ive tried ebay but as far as i could see theres nothing .

did a few things to it tonight , looks really complicated and messy atm but will tidy up nicely once all wires are connected shortened and tied

Looks very cool, but i could never bring myself to using the little pump things due to the crazy asking prices.. and the mess under the body.. argh.

Haha , i will actually use this one ... lol . Ive been using the HPI E10 pretty much half hour a day for the last month with my neighbour but just need more speed / more precise handling .

The bling parts ... well i do it coz i can ... hehe .

Eich - I scored that cooling system for about $120 delivered off one of the guys on another forum so thought it wasnt too bad and with my history with Mamba max 7700kvs i need as uch cooling as i can get ( cough cough ... running the non recomended 3S lipo ... cough cough )

why do all this to it when it just going to sit on the shelf mate hahaha

Tidied up the wiring , milled a nice mount into the mounting post bracket so that it took the water pump for the cooling system nice and firm .

Threw the spektrum receiver in

Got the real time telemetry mounted .

Shortened wires so their is no play floating around and looks neat

Aligned rpm sensor

Hooked the temp sensor to the motor and this is my main concern as i will be running an 11.1V lipo to it so it will warn me when im out of the motors comfort zone

Tomorrow i reckon shell get a detailed clean as the dust and dirt in it photos show big time

Dats about it for tonight as its like 3am and believe it or not im actually a bit tired now ... hehe
