View Full Version : New tires on the AX10 Chev

Got some imex swamp tires onto my Chevy Blazer.. Love the look, who cares about the grip hey :)

I put the foam from the AX10's stock tires into them, the foam the imex's comes with is WAY WAY to hard.. did a bit of cutting of the foams aswell for a softer side wall area..

I agree .. that does look sweet man .. where did you get the stick on weights from .. and what do I ask for when i go to the shop?

i got 2 of those tyres just got to pick up 2 more this week will see how they go on my gladiator

i will be getting a heap of stick on weights this week they will cheap

You just goto any tyre shop (i got mine from kewdale tires), you'll find the smaller independents more helpfull... Just ask for the lead weights that are used on mag wheels.. get 10 sticks.

Cool thanks man .. I've tried Mr Mag in Morley so far but they don't sell them .. Then I went to tire power the same day and some guy was going off that they wrecked his Landcruiser .. LOL .. so I just left .. hopefully I can pick some up before Saturday .. are you going to be there? .. You get pretty good flex on the AX .. What length are your shocks?

That surprises me that Mr Mag didn't have any, they use to have buckets full of weight sitting on the floor at the end of every isle in that place and 1kg bags behinds the counter.

Tire Power Morley sucks arse. They tried to sell a single strip of 50 grams to my missus for $7 and told her they were special LEAD weights, RETARDS!!!
