I have been eying these off at work for a while finally decided to grab one.
Talk about simple.
Pit Pro 550Li LiPo 1S-3S Charger
Brand - Trakpower
Price - $49
Where purchased - From Work :)
Pros:
- Simple to use, just select the battery type (preset for Lipo), charge current, cell count and press Start.
- Will charge 3S @ 5 amps
- Will charge all Lithium Chemistries (LiPo, life & Lilo)
Cons:
- Only 0.5 amp current increments, would like to be able to select 0.1amp
- Requires a 12 volt power supply
- Max 3S cell capacity, would like to be able to do 4S
For the general racer that wants a simple to use 2S/5amp LiPo charger this is great. The Charger also complies to ROAR charger specs as it charges CC/CV.
Stars out of 10 - I gave it a 8.
