found what i thought was a decent spot to take the crawler out.
corner of warton and nicolson in forrestdale/harrisdale is a new estate called arion i think. its got a little lake a really long overflow/stream that runs thru the estate.
Well given how dry it is, the overflow is bone dry, rocky and looks fun.

With a few more people here on T/A getting into crawling I thought it was time to update this thread. Maybe we can get it made into a STICKY.

Below is a quick couple of google links.

Lesmurdie - Welshpool Road almost opposite the BP (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=-32.012206,116.033927&t=h&z=16&vpsrc=0) Not sure of the conditions these days but from memory it is a good scale crawl location.

Falls Road Lesmurdie (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=-31.995984,116.033658&t=h&z=16&vpsrc=0)
Also have a look at Honey Road at the bottom of the hill and Palm Terrace

Bells Rapids (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=-31.774782,116.059902&t=h&z=16&vpsrc=0) - Awesome place for a play and a comp. Lots of shad for the family. Fresh water crossings so less chance of rust. ;) There is something for every crawler here from the easy scale crawl to extreme Pro 2.2.

Toilets also available.

A Lot of this area has still been undiscovered and has potential for more comps to be held out here.

Shoes are a must as the rocks can be slippery, sharp or grippy depending on the time of year. Highly Recommended!!! but dont go in the first or second weekend of August. It gets a little busy. :fonzie:

I wont post up all the locations. I will give others the chance and maybe offer an opinion of what the quality of the locations are like too.

There is a place in City Beach called Bold Park (http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&cp=7&gs_id=q&xhr=t&gs_upl=&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1280&bih=939&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=bold+park&fb=1&gl=au&hq=bold+park&hnear=0x2a32966cdb47733d:0x304f0b535df55d0,Perth,+ Western+Australia&cid=0,0,1082254475369005328&ei=J5vETrzdJeWriAe3qoXjDQ&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=image&sqi=2&ved=0CAcQ_BI), I have walked my dog there for years and I reckon it would be perfect for a Scale Run I will check it out over the weekend.

My local spot is Bickley Brook Reservoir.
Not as much rock as Red Hill, but some nice scaler stuff.
Here (http://www.nearmap.com/?q=@-32.031272,116.036938&ll=-32.031272,116.036938&z=18&t=h&nmd=20110908) and here (http://www.nearmap.com/?q=@-32.031004,116.039979&ll=-32.031004,116.039979&z=18&t=h&nmd=20110908).
This is the second location.

Add to these Hummerston (http://www.nearmap.com/?ll=-31.97186,116.077402&z=18&t=h&nmd=20110908)Rd at the back of Lesmurdie, great scale and some decent SpM and Pro.

Lesmurdie Opp (http://www.nearmap.com/?ll=-32.012522,116.033287&z=19&t=h&nmd=20110908)BP is where Cameron honed his Pro skills, some rock at just the right height for DIGs.

Statham and boya quarry can be accessed 7 days a week. Just contact the Perth Hills Centre between 10a.m.-4p.m. for the gate code. 08 9295 2244

North beach rocks. Grippy lime stone with pot holes and steep climbs.

Point Perron. Same as the above but a whole lot better

Serpentine Damn. Has some great lines and is a scale wonderland.

Whistle Pipe creek is great for both scale and 2.2. But the inherent danger of your car being broken into rules it out.

Just been the kingspark's naturescape. A lot of kids, but it does not say "no rc allowed". It is a scale heaven. In a cold winter morning during weekdays. It will be a good place to crawl.

Looks like a cool spot Clint. There appears to be some nice natural rock to the north and south of the groin.
