Racing at bayswater this fri night? Weather forecast is good.
Can we maybe do some track prep before racing?
I can get there for 5pm to work on the track, or... ?
thoughts? can any1 else come earlyish for some workin?
maybe a watering, if needed, at least a tidy up and sweep. etc? or maybe it just doesnt need it. haha

I'm gonna try swapping over my mamba with the beast tomorrow. That way I might be able to get some use out of my venom and losi packs. Still have to try bend the cvds straight as well. Then, it's all a matter of whether I can get there on time or not....

I might come down this week, don't think I'll race my Mini-t as it's stock and I will get laughed at.

dave. Ivan (mischief on here) was racing his STOCK mini-T last friday and whooped the crap out of us guys! (i had steering issues and BB was just tryna get as much air as he could hahahaha)
Ivan fully kicked ARSE... you'd be suprised.
come down, seriously, racing is FREE at the mo for mini-T's :)

Almost had to go out for dinner friday night....got out of it.....still looking good for racing. I just remembered the last time I raced (at maylands), my eyesight was so bad, I couldn't see the car when it hit the further parts of the track, not to mention I was randomly hitting walls :P Gonna set my mini-t up today with the Beast.

DAMMIT....no racing for me :(
Tried to install the Beast Raptor into my Mini-T. Doesn't fit cos I need a big block motor mount. Tried grinding it down, but it just ain't gonna work. I could put the mamba in but with the cogging and one battery pack it's a deal breaker for me. Gonna order a new motor mount asap.

naaah, still come, bring it with the mamba. Mine cog's up too.. it's all good once youve got some throttle in it! :)
did I mention I'm also just using one batt pack ? hehe

Ok I think i'll race then, I only have one batt pack too, will this be ok?
James

dave, you should be fine. so long as you can charge it in about 30 mins (about how long it will be between mini-T races)
they say you should let batteries cool an hr after use before re-charging haha, or is it after discharging, meh same thing

davetripoli:
dont worry bout it being bog stock, i've got a friend coming on firday 1st time & bog stock too.. & mine was stock cept for springs & shocks.
I'm hoping this time i'll have a losi speed motor so slightly faster...
but hey.. its all good fun seriously :)
It was my 2nd week there with stock motor.
No one cares as long as you enjoy yourself.

If i can get Justo's 8k mamba friday, i'll be selling my 6800 for maybe $130.
Btw: was just down at the track for a comittee meeting, has a few wet patches from the rain, but if the sun holds till friday night, we should be ok to race.

I'm pretty sure theres some paddle tyres for a mini-t at Perth Hobby Centre, they'd go great in the mud!
