I'm about to buy a new charger.

I'm thinking Duratrax intellipeak ICE, or LRP Pulsar Competition or CDC or supernova Competition.

now... along comes this Supernova Competition charger.

the specs are pretty damn good (just a few specs):
* Choice of 4 charging methods - linear, reflex, impulse or four step
* 10 battery memories
* 1-10 ni-cad & ni-mh cells/ 1-4 li-ion & li-poly cells
* max. charge rate - 8A
* max. discharge rate - 20A
* motor run in function
* temperature sensor

now your thinking, so what, simular specs to the others. But, 20Amp discharge, I'm loving that. and comes with a temp sensor (not that you'd really use it, depends)

Thoughts from some of the oldschool racers before I plunge?

It's only a fraction more in cost than an Intellipeak ICE, yet has some more features, etc. These guys seem to be well known for good products too.. hrmmm.

looking to purchase TOMMOROW, ready for fri night racing :)

Nice one man, if your keen, PM me a price, and let me know the model, etc.

I'll probably still buy the new Supernova Competition. two chargers is better than one :) looks sh*t hot. rang Perth RC, they dont have them yet, they must be pretty new...

Nah it doesnt when you drive it carefully..

Start leaning on it though and it uses just as much!
