I have a slash, but its bone stock.... exept for red bead locks....
and my new truck I bought to get into racing more once i've had a crack at the slash, as it is slower...
a AE SC10... happy with the design, but i really shouldn't have been so impatient and used better tape and taken more care, oh well, next one... least i'll see it on the track I think... lets hope all the electronics work alright as this is the first r/c car i've put together!!! fingers crossed

i will take some soon, gotta go out to mrs little bro's bday....
just binded it with reciever, sorted throttle trim out but steering is 100% left trim and still turns slightly right.... makes buzzing noise with quick turn right but stops when you go left... any help would be good, also can you make the brakes work better at all?? I'm running a 10.5 lrp brushless motor, lrp sphere speedy and dx3r reciever...
had a quick go out the front, geez, donuts on the spot... gunna take some practice... ha ha..

hey johhny , yeah , looks great .
id assume the buzzing noise is the servo trying to center but not being able to due to something in the steering line being too tight so check that ... i say this without looking at it of course .
Also , take the steering servo horn off the servo , bring your trim back to 0 then straighten the wheels and put the servo horn back on ... may even fix your buzzing noise

Looks good Jonny. Looks like a lot of thought went into the paint scheme.
Reset your steering servo. Disconnect the servo horn, set the servo back to zero trim, reconnect the servo with steering straight. Set the subtrim and touch up with the trim.
If it is a digital servo set the frame rate to 5.5 which might help with the buzzing of the servo too.
With the brakes you might find that the LRP doesnt have a lot of feel to it on the road with the SC10 but on the track you will probably find its to much. Otherwise you may need to reset every thing back to 100% and recalibrate the ESC to the radio.

ok, well, i did what you said, its alot better now, but servo still makes buzzing sometimes, quick left then right and it seems to centre itself and is ok... not sure about brakes but guess i'll have to find out...
paint job design took about as long as it takes to mask a line, ha ha, was straight off the top of my head, still have to put some silver pinstriping where collours divide but i'll get there... not the world best but it will do...

ha ha, cool.... theres a neglected bmx track at john dunn memorial park... google map it, i was thinking i might take the slash down there after work tommoz and hit it up, slash is stock as a rock but is fun... If your keen i'm trying to get a few mates down there too!!!! maybe even sat... thought i would go a good setup for the sc10.... slasher will stay as a stocky for a while i think... until the need for more power gets to strong to resist... lol
