Winter Racing?

Just want to know if West Coast shuts down for winter or if you keep racing every friday provided its not wet.
Please forgive my ignorance if it is stated on the west coast website had a quick look and couldnt see anything.

as far as I know we will keep racing until the wether gets too bad and then we stop for about 2-3 months.

Yeah its basically a case of race while the track is able to be raced on. Once its too wet it needs a good couple of weeks at winter temperatures to dry out. But of course then it gets rained on again. Odds are once a friday meet gets cancelled, the club will be considered on winter break. It'll be around august when it gets useable again. All weather permitting of course.

2 or 3 years ago it was rained out in the first week of may, and not dry enough until the end of september! At the mercy of the rain gods unfortunately.
