And the reason for this is to show that you are not a spammer and to show that you are a contributor to the forum before you advertise stuff, Wanted or For Sale.

do u guys expect me to simply write stuff on forums even tho i dont have anything to say? im new to R/C so i cant really give constructive feedback on the topics in these forums. u guys are like a bunch of lions trying to piss on a tree 2 mark ur territory. sorry for asking for sum help to fix up my ride

Hey Kunj , welcome to the site .

Ill explain the position here as i own and fund the site .

I put a 15 post minimum to advertise in the wanted and selling section reason being there was a point in the site where we were having many spammers advertising their $50 iphones from some dodgey company from overseas plus allot of fly by nighters spamming the site and this 15 post minimum totally stopped the problem overnight .

On a personal note , i dedicate over a solid $1G to this site yearly in hosting fees , prizes etc and if people are just going to use the site for free advertising without contributing id prefer they tried somewhere else so thats the other reason .

I totally understand your situation mate , im on heaps of forums ( with the same classifieds rules as here ) and know what its like to be the new guy but what i always do is start up a thread introducing myself bla bla bla and it does roll off from there and gets the post counts up almost overnight .

Anyway Kunj , hope you stick around , sorry for the bad welcoming but its all good here and apart from the 15 post minimum we dont really have any other rules .

hey adam, well put, i get where ur coming from and appreciate the time you took to explain it to me. uve spent alot of cash to keep this site goin, and rookies like me appreciate it. thanks for ur contribution and keep the good work up. jus wished sum of the guys here were not such big ding dongs
