Thursday : Fine. Min: 11 Max: 25
Friday : Fine. Min: 12 Max: 26

If the weather stays dry ALL week, and we only get a light shower sunday, we should still be ok. The clay can soak up a little water, and will in fact keep dust down and give us more grip. The problem is when we get a LOT of water all at once. So heres hoping it remains fine and sunny, and if it does rain, just a quick, light shower.

And thats if we can even run this sunday and not clash with the onroad guys.

last time there was only a small shower at WC, the track was absolutely a dream to run on... I was on the rostrum just saying to myself how totally awesome my truck was handling (due to grip)! the following race meet, dusty, no grip! doh. haha

If anyone has a 6-cell i can loan for the race meet, I'd much appreciate. I'm down to one pack at the mo, and still in the 'progress' of ordering some new matched cells to make up some new packs! :(
I can discharge/charge/cycle to your instructions too. Else, I'm likely to destroy the only half-decent pack I have by running it in every heat. (i prefer to let cells cool right down after discharging, before charging...)

apart from a lack of batteries, a smashed truck which I need to glue back together, and a mini-T that still doesnt steer straight....

I'm looking forward to the interclub :) hahaha

OH Man was the interclub rocking! it was BIG, loads of racers, heaps of classes, and man do my feet hurt now!! Anything that could have gone wrong, pretty much did for me today.. :( from frequency clashes (no idea why) to batt probs, diff probs, mini snapped upper deck, rah rah..

*sigh* had fun though!!

race results are online in the top right box

Hey James, I came down for a bit yesterday morning, what a great event. This was actually my first look at off road and I was very impressed, your Mini T kicks ass by the way. The track is great and I can really see the different skill involved in racing off road well compared to racing on road. BTW I didn't realise you are James from Rollaboyz, you will remember my "MYTOT4" Corolla I had a few years ago. Hope to race my MINI T soon.

heh yeh, thats me, and Matto was also in RB too.

I was just driving the T around, rather than racing hard and getting loads of air. When I did decide to get some big air, I snapped my top deck hinge. doh. Otherwise I was fairly happy with it's performance, it goes straight now, and moves nicely on the straight. had it tuned low, for more control, rather than high (for insane bashing styles)

Bowling Ball saved me by giving up a part I needed to race it! I broke the bottom of a shock (where the metal ball sits in) the day before at Ryper, he had a spare, lucky. I wasn't having much luck with my 1/10 on the day, so BB got me going and having fun with my 1/18! lucky.. :)

time for more hop ups, more tuning, and more racing! the 1/10 is going on the shelf for now, motor needs a comm cut, repairs are required, and I just need a new 1/10!

Hey James, I thought you might have sorted out your frequency issues. I was the one that had the JR manual.

James

aaah yep mate.. I sorted the right freq, but come race time in race #2, i had strange interference right from the start line, my car went off the track on turn 1, and didn't go back on the track :(

wasn't too happy, but it happens i spose.
