Meeting to be held at Carine this Sunday 28 June (weather permitting).
Nominations can be made by Alycat online entries system. Its a small program (Online Entries for Drivers) you download from http://www.alycat.com/AlycatRC/WebSite/Download.html. If you're having issues email your nomination to carinerc@iinet.net.au. Classes we plan on running are:
1. Truck (Combining Mod/Stock/Corr)
2. 4WD (1/10 and 1/8th)
3. MT
(Either of the first 2 classes may be split according to numbers on the day)
We will run normal race-day format of 2 qualifiers and 3 finals.
Gates will open 9am, racing by 10am. Sausage sizzle and cold/hot drinks available. Power available. Bring shelter/table and extension cords.
Keep an eye on TA the night before and on Sunday morning for updates on the event as the weather outlook is not particularly good at this stage. If in doubt ring me Sunday morning on 0417 944771.

Thanks Pete, we'd know to expect no-one if you didn't show!
I would come down but I don't think my tank would cut the mustard in a race :)

Wow, tank racing! Never thought of that. Would be painfully slow with little marshalling required!

i could spice it up by towing them around the track with my bajas
Could also spice it up if one added a real gun to the tank and blew up said baja lol

Batten down the hatches for tonight and we'll see what the weather holds tomorrow morning. If it does run we might need to use a few pegs to hold the marquee down this time!

Paul Volker and Patrick where flat out marshaling again
Wasn't all bad, they say to try and get 30 minutes of exercise a day, so marshalling the truck/CORR class took care of 25 mins ;) Would be good to have enough people to fill at least 4 classes though.
